The Yale HHT Center at the Yale University School of Medicine is pleased to announce that their 2nd HHT Patient and Family Conference will take place in New Haven, CT on October 24, 2009.


During this one day event, the Yale HHT Center faculty will present the most current information on HHT. You will have an opportunity to ask questions, as well as time to network and share your stories with many others with HHT.

 

Schedule:
7:30 – 8:30am Registration & Continental Breakfast
8:30 – 9:00am Welcome and HHT Overview
9:00 –12:00pm Program

  • HHT Overview
  • Treatment and Management of Nosebleeds
  • GI and Liver Symptoms and Management
  • Cardiac Issues Associated with HHT
  • Aging with HHT
  • Exercise, Exercise Testing and PAVM

12:00 – 1:15pm Networking Lunch
1:30 – 2:00pm HHT Foundation Update
2:00 – 4:00pm Small Group Questions and Answers
4:00pm HHT Center Tour (optional)
